Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is Luxe & Life Travel Group only for women of color? Luxe & Life was primarily created to increase positive travel experiences for women of color. Historically, Black Americans in general have traveled abroad less than their counterparts. We are striving to decrease that gap by promoting group travel that is enjoyable, safe, enlightening, and cultural. Whether we are traveling domestically or internationally, Luxe & Life welcomes all who would like to travel with the same mindset of community, experience, empowerment, and adventure. Our trips are designed to appeal to a diverse range of ages. We will also occasionally offer trips to include men and families, as well.
2. What happens after I make my reservation? After completing your reservation, you will receive an email with your trip and account details. As your trip approaches, we will send a variety of information including a recommended packing list, itinerary updates, and any necessary forms. Please be on the lookout for this information.
3. How do I make payments? If you do not pay in full, you will have a monthly payment plan. You will be able to see the amounts and schedule of payments before making your reservation.
4. What payment methods do you accept? We accept major credit cards and we also accept Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm, and ApplePay.
5. Do you provide refunds? No, we do not provide refunds due to our contractual obligations with our suppliers and vendors. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more details. In addition, we strongly suggest travel insurance even for domestic trips.
6. Do you offer roommate matching? For certain trips, we will offer roommate matching. If you desire this, you will need to complete our rommate matching form so we can match you for the best fit. After 50% of your trip is paid for, you will receive the name and email of your roommate so the two of you may connect. However, if we are unable to match you with a roommate, you will need to find your own or you will be responsible for paying the additional amount for a single occupancy room.
